ICMI 2026

ICMI 2026 is the 28th ACM International Conference on Multimodal Interaction, held 5 to 9 October 2026 in Naples, Italy.

Workshops, tutorials and grand challenges run on 5 and 9 October, with the main conference from 6 to 8 October.

The research covers multimodal machine learning, speech and gesture interfaces, affective computing, social signal processing and human agent interaction.

It is the specialist venue for researchers working on how people and multimodal AI systems actually interact, rather than on model capability alone.
